CNC Turning
The Parts That
Connect Your System
Couplings interface your motor to the screw. Bearing housings locate your shaft. Adapters translate between standards. These turned components are small in size but critical in function — and we machine them to the same precision as every lead screw we make.

Tolerances
General turning ±0.05mm. Bearing fits and critical bores to H6/h6. Surface finish Ra 1.6 – 3.2 standard; Ra 0.8 on request.
Materials
Steel, stainless (304/316), aluminium, brass, bronze, engineering plastics.
Volume
Small batches to production runs. Able to accommodate low minimum order quantities per run.
Lead Time
Rush orders considered. Singapore production with limited import delays.
Every linear motion system has interfaces — points where one component transitions into the next. The coupling between motor and screw. The bearing housing that locates the shaft. The adapter that bridges a metric screw to an imperial nut. The machined end that indexes against a stop.
These are precision interfaces. A few hundredths of a millimetre of runout in a coupling translates directly to premature wear on your lead screw nut. A housing that’s bored slightly oversize compromises your bearing preload. The components that “connect” your system are not secondary — they define how the whole thing performs.
At TNL Engineering Works, we turn these components to the same standard as our lead screws. And because we’re making both, we can dimension the coupling and the screw end to work together from the start by minimizing tolerance stack-up — rather than hoping two separately-sourced parts happen to agree.
PARTS THAT CONNECT YOUR SYSTEM
We machine turned components where your linear motion systems meet for a seamless operational process throughout.
